About Me:
I have been married to my incredible wife since 2011. We both enjoy educating and working with kids. I am fascinated by the modern world of data and numbers that are tied to every aspect of a child's education, which is why I am a special education teacher. Before teaching, I was a soldier in the United States Army. In my free time, I like to read, ride my motorcycle, hunt, fish, and work outdoors.
Goals & Dreams:
It is my goal to be a teacher that matters in the lives of my students, no matter where I am. I plan to finish my master's degree (M.Ed) in Educational Leadership, then pursue a doctorate (PhD or EdD) in the area of educational research and/or policy. In due time, I would like to work in a college or university setting, performing research to enhance educational polices and best practices. I also aim to contribute and share my research in whatever ways I can (this blog, journals, etc...).
